I've had a few classes at UW that stick out to me and the shaping of my education that didn't fall into the Honors or Psychology categories. Below are two courses from which I still have tangible artifacts.
Religion 201
This class was one of the first I took at UW and I found it interesting to explore religion academically. It really ignited a love for me to pursue the topic intelligently--something I hadn't really thought possible from my experience growing up.
English 111
I actually came into UW hoping to potentially major in English. Once I discovered the first class I would take would revolve around a 500 page poem about the Civil War, I figured this might not be the place to pursue my love for literature. I did gain a pretty angsty paper to document my moods as a freshman however.
